Author's Comment
When using the Greek hexakaidecapus, icositetrapus, etc., modify as necessary if you have amputee octopuses. (Octopi?)
Also, if you're interested in a more detailed discussion of the whole octopuses / octopi / octopodes thing, come on over the blog at jonfwilkins.blogspot.com/2012/03/whats-plural-of-octopus.html where you'll also learn how to say octopus in Maori!

This Tuesday, March 13, represents the one year anniversary of the launch of the Darwin Eats Cake website. In celebration, we'll be rolling out a new comic every day, all part of a series on Toxoplasmosis.
There are six comics in the series, which is why we're starting on Sunday.
So, as the Beverly Hillbillies say, Y'all come back now, ya hear!
