Reminder about comments

As is perhaps obvious, there is no way to make comments here at the Darwin Eats Cake site. It's not that I don't care what you think. Well, it's not entirely that, anyway. Mostly, I like the cleaner appearance of the site without comments. Also, I don't know how to set up a comment feature.

As I've mentioned before, I cross post many of the comics at my blog, Lost in Transcription. This is not usually done in a timely way, and I try to do it mostly when I have some additional context to impart, particularly to provide stuff like citations to papers related to the science-themed strips. I do moderate comments on the blog. I'll never censor a comment that disagrees with me, or points out a mistake, but I delete any content-free comments of the "You're a stupid dummy" or "Come check out my website" varieties.

I'm now posting a link to every new strip on Google+. You can find me at https://plus.google.com/115850015072126033610/posts . The links are always public, so you can comment freely there, even if you're a flaming troll-flamer. I don't know if there is a way to regulate comments on a public post on G+, but I guarantee that even if there is one, I don't know how to use it.

So, to review: if you want to post a substantive comment, try the blog; commenting is also available at G+, where substance is optional.
